Thompson Recognized as Eagle Scout

Whitefish Bay Boy Scout Troop 398 proudly announces that Andy Thompson has been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, scouting's highest honor. 

Andy was awarded his Eagle Scout badge on April 9 at his Eagle Court of Honor. Andy’s Eagle service project involved repairing and improving the extensive hiking and running trails at Kletzsch Park in Glendale. Under his leadership 22 volunteers performed 174 hours of service to successfully complete this project. The path to Eagle demands a commitment to learning through earning merit badges, and to service through various leadership roles and responsibilities over several years. Fewer than 2% of all scouts achieve this honor. 

Andy is a senior at Whitefish Bay High School, a National Merit Finalist, a volunteer at Schlitz Audubon Center and other organizations, and a member and volunteer at the United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay.
