Between 200 and 300 Protest in Front of Darling's Glendale Office
Some arguments boiled up between the protestors and the handful of Darling volunteers on site Thursday afternoon.
About 200 to 300 protestors showed their displeasure with Sen. Alberta Darling's support of Gov. Scott Walker's budget, which went before the State Senate today.
The protestors met at the Bayshore Town Center Park and Ride and marched to Darling's office at 311 W. Silver Spring Dr, chanting "Alberta Darling has to go," "This is what democracy looks like" and "Recall Darling." Some of the groups represented in the protest include Voces de la Frontera, SEIU, Wisconsin Families Forward and We are Wisconsin.
About six Darling supporters and volunteers stood outside with signs and some were videotaping the protest. Some of the protestors engaged in heated debate with Darling supporters, but it was overall peaceful.
