Blue Dukes Fourth in Homestead Gymnastics Meet
Maggie Anderson takes second in all-around in tough field.
The Whitefish Bay gymnastics team took fourth place in a competitive field of 11 teams at the Homestead Highlander Invite on Saturday. The Blue Dukes scored 137.7 points. Sheboygan South won the meet with a score of 141.725. Mukwonago/Kettle Moraine was second with 141.4, and Arrowhead was third with 139.2.
Maggie Anderson was second in the all-around with a score of 35.8. She placed fifth on vault with a 8.85 and third on bars with a 9.125. Lucy Anzia was sixth on beam with a 9.1.
The team is in the Arrowhead Invitational on Saturday.
