Booze, Adderall Found in Drunk Driver's Car, Police Say

The driver's vehicle was serving all over Hampton Road when police made the arrest last week.

A drunk driver could face state charges for allegedly driving drunk down Hampton Road last week with a cup full of booze and Adderall in her purse.

The female driver was arrested at 2:41 a.m. May 7 after a Whitefish Bay police officer noticed her vehicle swerving all over Hampton Road near Marlborough Drive. The vehicle also had a broken tail light covered with tape, according to a police report.

Police say the driver was on her cell phone, and did not put the phone away when the officer approached the vehicle. In a search of the vehicle, officers found three Adderall pills in her purse. On the passenger seat – hidden under a shopping bag of clothes – police found a travel coffee mug filled with rum and Coke. Her blood alcohol content measured 0.12, according to a police report.
