Car Thefts Lead To Police Warning: Lock Up

FOX POINT, WI — Whitefish Bay officials are warning residents to lock their cars after a spree of vehicle thefts in Fox Point, according to a release from the village.

In the overnight hours of June 23 to 24, several vehicles were stolen in Fox Point, the release says.

"Fortunately Whitefish Bay appears to have been spared from this most recent series of crime," the release says. Police added that residents should remain vigilant.

"[Whitefish Bay] residents should take steps to ensure that residences and vehicles are secured, and keys are not being left inside vehicles," police said.
