Coyote Spotted 3 Times In One Day In Whitefish Bay; Police Called
Police in Whitefish Bay say a coyote was in someone's backyard before it was again spotted near children and later was circling cars.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Whitefish Bay police responded to three calls about a coyote in the village on April 15. Residents complained the coyote was in one person's backyard before it was spotted again near children and pets and finally trotting down a road and circling cars.
According to police, a resident on the 4700 block of N. Woodruff Ave. called police, saying they saw a coyote laying in the back yard. When police showed up, the coyote ran away.
The coyote was later spotted near people later that day.
According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, a resident near the 5200 block of N. Lake Drive called police just before 3 p.m. on April 15 on a report of a coyote on the sidewalk.

Police call logs stated that the coyote was trotting near pedestrians, children and dogs.
According to police, a Whitefish Bay police officer ushered the coyote to the bluff to prevent it from getting close to people and pets.

At just before 5 p.m., the same officer got another call about a coyote - this time on the 1000 block of E. Hampton Road. A person called police saying the coyote was running down the middle of the road and circling cars.
According to police call logs, the officer once again spotted the coyote and tailed it to the bluff near the 5300 block of N. Lake Drive.
