Cumberland Students Jam Out in Flash Mob
The elementary school students celebrated the end of the school year with a kickball game and a dance party.
Cumberland School's end-of-the-year kickball game had a surprise ending this year.
Most students and teachers were unaware that Cumberland Principal Jayne Heffron had planned a flash mob dance party Thursday afternoon, but when they heard the beginning notes of "Do Re Mi," they immediately sprung into a choreographed dance routine – based on a flash mob held three years ago at a Belgian train station.
The students had practiced the dance routine for the Spring Sing concert, but they were unable to do so because rainy weather kept them inside the gymnasium.
