Dropout and Graduation Rates in Whitefish Bay

Graduation rates in Whitefish Bay are well above the state average, with nearly all the 12th grade students enrolled in 2011-12 receiving a diploma, according to data from the state Department of Public Instruction.

Statewide in 2011-12, 88.6 percent of enrolled high school seniors received diplomas, and 5.5 percent of students dropped out of school. 

That year at Whitefish Bay, 97.6 percent of the 211 enrolled high school seniors received diplomas, according to DPI data, and one student dropped out.

By comparison, Shorewood also had one student drop out, but due to class size, had a slightly lower graduation rate of 96.1 percent. At Nicolet, the graduation rate was 91.7 percent, with 13 students dropping out.
