Drunk Driver Arrested Twice in One Night

Milwaukee man arrested for drunken driving, then arrested 10 minutes later after leaving the police station.

Ten minutes after being released from custody for drunken driving, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man was caught behind the wheel again.

The man was first arrested for drunken driving in the 200 block of East Chateau Place at 2:51 a.m. Thursday. He was initially pulled over for driving without headlights, and an Intoximeter test later showed his blood alcohol content was 0.12.

He was released to a responsible party at 5:25 a.m., and 10 minutes later, he was found behind the wheel of the vehicle again. He was taken into custody for OWI again, this time with a blood alcohol content of 0.10. He was released again to a responsible party at 7:28 a.m.
