Drunken Driver Crashed Into Yard In Whitefish Bay: Report

Police said the driver, a 19-year-old Milwaukee woman, crashed into a backyard fence on the 5000 block of N. Palisades Road.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI β€” Police say a Milwaukee woman crashed into a backyard fence in an apparent drunken driving crash.

According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, an officer on patrol tried to pull over the driver of a vehicle who was driving 76 miles per hour in a 30 mile-per-hour zone along the 4800 block of N. Lake Drive at just before 1 a.m. on Feb. 2.

Police said the driver, a 19-year-old Milwaukee woman, crashed into a backyard fence on the 5000 block of N. Palisades Road, and was arrested on suspicion of her first drunken driving offense.

She was transported to Froedtert Hospital with minor injuries and her vehicle was later towed from the scene of the crash.
