Farmers Market Kicks Off Saturday

Open air market will have a new theme every week through Oct. 1.

The Whitefish Bay Farmers Market kicks off Saturday morning, which means Silver Spring Drive will be bustling with local produce vendors, kid's activities and more.

Starting at 8 a.m. and lasting through noon, the open air market will run through October 1 on Berkeley Boulevard right off Silver Spring Drive.

Throughout the season, the market will feature fresh and organic produce, meats, eggs, honey, flowers, kid’s activities, and much more.
The Whitefish Bay Farmers Market is a traditional farmers market with a green, local and educational focus. In addition, the farmers market will include entertainment and educational activities for all ages.

Future weekends will include demonstrations, live music, and programming or participation from UW-Extension master gardeners, the , the North Shore Environmental Health Consortium, Healthy Communities Project, the , the Whitefish Bay Civic Foundation, the North Shore Fire Department, student musicians, girl scout troops, Whitefish Bay Patch and more.

β€œWe’re enthused for the start of this year’s farmers market here in Whitefish Bay. Based on the success and popularity of last year and the increased interest in local and healthy options, we are pleased to offer a successful farmers market to the greater community,” said John
Stuhlmacher of Winkie’s and chairman of the Whitefish Bay Business Improvement District.
