Five Drunk Drivers Arrested in One Week
Whitefish Bay police also cited a young woman for possession of marijuana.

Five drunk drivers were arrested by the Whitefish Bay Police Department in a one-week period.
Only one of the five drunk drivers is from Whitefish Bay. Here is a summary of the incidents, which spanned the week of March 15 through March 22:
- A 44-year-old Whitefish Bay man struck two trees, a fire hydrant and a light pole in a drunk driving accident on Lake Drive at 2 a.m. March 15. After crashing his car in the 4700 block of Lake Drive, he abandoned his vehicle and fled the scene. He was eventually located by police, transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and placed under arrest for OWI.Â
- A 27-year-old Mississippi man was arrested for drunken driving in the 200 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 3:16 a.m. on March 16. His blood alcohol content was 0.11.
- A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving at 4:06 a.m. on March 17 in the 4700 block of Wilson Drive. Her blood alcohol content was 0.11.
- A 50-year-old Oconomowoc woman was arrested for her third drunken driving arrest at 2:33 a.m. March 19. Officers pulled her over in the 500 block of E. Lake View Ave. for traveling 54 mph in a 30 mph zone. She had a blood alcohol content of 0.15. She was issued citations for third offense OWI and speeding.Â
- A 38-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving at 12:59 a.m. March 22 after being involved in an accident in the 5800 block of Lake Drive. With a blood alcohol content of 0.20, he was cited for speeding and operating while intoxicated.

- A 29-year-old South Milwaukee man and a 22-year-old Whitefish Bay woman were involved in a loud verbal argument in the 100 block of Chateau Place at 11:51 p.m. March 17. The woman was cited for possession of marijuana.
- A resident in the 4900 block of Cumberland reported their garbage can was stolen from the side of their house on March 20.
