Green Thumbs Welcome at the Community Garden
The Whitefish Bay Community Garden holds work days on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Whitefish Bay Community Garden organizers are inviting community members to lend a hand at the garden on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The community garden is open for gardening on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays starting at 8:45 a.m. There are plenty of chores to be done - everything from planting, weeding, watering, building, digging, and planning.
Whitefish Bay alumni Sam Odin and Case Bretzman – also known as "the Whitefish Bay Farmers" – will be directing activities, sharing their knowledge and willing to collaborate with community members in attendance.

The Whitefish Bay Farmers will also be joining the Middle School Green Team and the High School Earth Club in organizing an Earth Day celebration at the community garden site at 3 p.m. on April 25th. The ceremony will introduce people to community gardening, agriculture and food system education, and the beneficial relationships to be realized through community gardens.
