Holocaust Memorial Earns Initial Nod

Commissioners also give final approval for a new salon and a cosmetic surgery clinic.

The on Tuesday received the first nod needed to move forward with plans to break ground on a Holocaust memorial on its campus in May.

The Whitefish Bay Plan Commission approved the plans, which now must go before the Architectural Review Commission and the Village Board.

Plans for the educational exhibit were introduced as an amendment to a development plan the village approved when the JCC remodeled its campus eight years ago. Commissioners agreed the plans were consistent with the original development plan.
