Impaired Driver Found With 23 Grams Marijuana, Scale: Report

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Police in Whitefish Bay say officers pulled over a woman for a routine violation, only to find that she was driving while under the influence of drugs.

According to Whitefish Bay Police call logs, an officer on patrol in the 4400 block of N. Lake Drive stopped the driver of a black Saturn at just after midnight on Jan. 7 for a registration violation.

Police said a 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested on suspicion of her first impaired driving offense. Police said she was also arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after she was found to have 23 grams of marijuana and a scale.

Police said the woman refused a blood draw, and was transported to the Whitefish Bay Police Department where she was booked, cited and released.
