Man Arrested After Shooting Toward Whitefish Bay Apartment: Police
One round hit a gas meter and nearby residences were evacuated as a precaution Tuesday night, but nobody was injured, according to police.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Police arrested a man Tuesday after an officer saw him shoot toward an apartment building in the 100 block of Chateau Place around 10:26 p.m., according to the Whitefish Bay Police Department.
One round hit a gas meter prompting an evacuation for residents in the area, but nobody was injured, the agency announced Wednesday morning in a Facebook post. Several casings were found in the area and more rounds struck the apartment, police said.
Police arrested the man and referred charges for recklessly endangering safety-firing into a building to the Milwaukee County District Attorney, police said.
