Man Goes Into River After Glendale Police Pursuit: Reports
A man led police on a pursuit early Monday morning and fled into the Milwaukee River near Silver Spring Drive, according to reports.
GLENDALE, WI — The driver of a vehicle involved in a police pursuit early Monday entered the Milwaukee River on foot near Silver Spring Drive when the pursuit came to a halt, according to a report by FOX 6 News citing Glendale police.
The vehicle entered the city around 2 a.m., suspected of possible burglaries, and police used stop sticks on it on Interstate 43, police said according to the FOX6 report.
The vehicle came to a stop on Silver Spring Drive near the Milwaukee River where a man got out and ran into the river, the FOX6 report says.

Police told TMJ4 news the man exited the river uninjured by himself and was taken into custody.
