Pasch Takes Whitefish Bay in Recall Primary
Forty-one percent of villagers voted Tuesday night's Democratic primary election.
State Rep. Sandy Pasch easily won the vote of her hometown with 69 percent of the vote in Tuesdayβs Democratic primary election, which sends the Whitefish Bay Democrat to the general recall election against Sen. Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) on Aug. 9.
Forty-one percent of the village turned out for the primary recall election, in which 2,702 villagers voted for Pasch and 1,196 voted for Gladys Huber, an 80-year-old Republican activist from Mequon that ran against Pasch as a fake Democrat.
Pasch won in every ward of the village, according to unofficial results from Whitefish Bay Village Hall Tuesday night.
