Police Arrest 16-Year-Old After Damaging Property: Report

According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, an officer on patrol at just after midnight on Nov. 11 saw a suspicious person.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Police in Whitefish Bay say they arrested a 16-year-old Whitefish Bay boy after a resident reported seeing him damage private property, including walking off with a potted plant.

According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, an officer on patrol at just after midnight on Nov. 11 saw a suspicious person damaging private property.

Call logs stated the officer saw a teenager trying to remove "No Parking" signs, break two downspout extenders on a home, and take a potted plant on the 100 block of E. Chateau Place. Police said they saw the teenager walking away with the potted plant.

According to police, officers confronted the 16-year-old boy on private property on the 200 block of E. Chateau Place. He reportedly gave the officer a fake name. He was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
