Police Chief Search Down to Final Four
The four candidates come from Whitefish Bay, Burlington, Waukesha and Milwaukee.

The search for a new Whitefish Bay police chief has narrowed to four candidates.
The Whitefish Bay Police Commission began its search for a new police chief after Robert Jacobs to the Village Board in February. Starting with 27 candidates, the commission narrowed the field to 10 candidates in May.

Stefanski is one of four candidates in the running for the job, along with Burlington Police Chief Peter Nimmer, Waukesha Police Captain Ronald Tischer and Milwaukee Police Captain Michael Young.
Village Manager Patrick DeGrave said the Police Commission is still hammering out the final selection and other details of the new hire.
