Police Report: 60 MPH and Drunk

A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was driving at nearly double the speed limit when he was pulled over for drunken driving early Friday morning.
The man was stopped for going 58 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 4900 block of North Lake Drive at 1:17 a.m. Friday. He registered a BAC of 0.10 and was cited with his first drunken driving offense.
The next day, a 22-year-old Cedarburg man was taken into custody for his second drunken driving offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was pulled over by officers at 2:49 a.m. Saturday in the 6200 block of North Lake Dr. with a BAC of 0.13.

Police caught two teenage boys attempting to steal bicycles in the 4800 block of North Lydell Avenue. One of the boys fled on foot and was caught in the 5100 block of North Shoreland Avenue. The 15-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for trespassing and resisting an officer.
