Police Report: Car Drives into House on Lake Drive
Shorewood man suffered from medical episode and lost control of his vehicle in crash Wednesday evening.
The driver of the car that crashed into the front window of a home at North Lake Drive and East Fairmount Avenue last week was impaired by a medical episode.
The driver, a 42-year-old Shorewood man, drove his Honda Accord into the front window of a home at North Lake Drive and East Fairmount Avenue at about 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. The vehicle was headed southbound down Lake Drive, when the driver suffered from a medical episode that caused him to lose consciousness and control of the vehicle, according to the police report. Dilantin, an anti-epilectic medication was found in the car.

- A 17-year-old Whitefish Bay boy was injured after getting hit by a car on Sheffield Avenue and Fairmount Avenue at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning. The vehicle driver, an 83-year-old Glendale man, was cited for failing to yield while making a left turn.
- Police received a report of kids throwing rocks at bicyclists and joggers in the area east of Cumberland School at about 10 p.m. Sunday. The kids were gone by the time police arrived at the scene.
- A caller reported two 17-year-old boys were smoking marijuana in the 4700 block of Hollywood Avenue at 11 p.m. Monday night. One of the boys was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia.
