Police Report: Drunk Drivers Home for the Holidays
The latest reports from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

Alcohol was a factor in three traffic citations given to young adults in the last week in Whitefish Bay:
- A 26-year-old man from Boulder, CO was arrested for drunken driving in the early morning hours the day before his 27th birthday on Lake Drive at Beaumont Avenue at 1 a.m. Monday. The man, who refused to perform field sobriety tests, was taken into custody for operating while intoxicated, having no proof of insurance and operating without tail lights.
- A 26-year-old Fox Point woman spent the night in a jail cell after being taken into custody for drunken driving in the 5900 block of North Lake Drive at 2:43 a.m. Wednesday. The woman had a blood alcohol content of 0.13. She decided not to contact a responsible party, opting instead to stay in one of the village's jail cells until she sobered up at 9:20 a.m.
- A 19-year-old Whitefish Bay man was stopped at Cumberland Boulevard and Larkin Street at 2:18 a.m. Tuesday and cited with underage drinking, having no proof of insurance and operating after suspension of registration.

- A Whitefish Bay woman reported finding a 3-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl wandering on the sidewalk crying for their father in the 5700 block of North Bay Ridge Avenue at 4:06 p.m. Monday. Police returned the children to their father and counseled him.
- A resident called the police at 4:21 p.m. Monday to report two Recall Walker petitioners walking into the roadway at Santa Monica Boulevard and Silver Spring Drive to collect signatures. Police told the two Shorewood women to stay on the sidewalk.
- An 18-year-old Milwaukee girl that fled from Shorewood police during a shoplifting investigation was arrested by Whitefish Bay police in the 100 block of East Hampton Road at 7 p.m. Monday. The woman was taken into custody and turned over to Shorewood police.
