Police Report: Prescription Fraud, Third OWI

The latest reports from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

At least three different people tried to pass bogus Oxycodone prescriptions at last week.

A man in his 40s or 50s attempted to pass a possibly forged prescription for 90 Oxycodone on April 26 at CVS, 240 E. Hampton Road. He left without any pills after attempting the transaction with a stolen prescription sheet about 8 p.m. Tuesday. Pharmacy employees contacted police because the prescription looked similar to a fraudulent prescription that was presented earlier on April 21.

In a related case, a 34-year-old Milwaukee man also attempted to pass a forged prescription for 90 Oxycodone on April 23. The prescription pad was confirmed stolen from a doctor’s office.
