Police Report: Smash-and-Grab Thefts, Three Drunk Drivers
The latest reports from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

Whitefish Bay Police made three drunken driving arrests in the past week.
- A 20-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for drunk driving in the 100 block of E. Hampton Road at 1:51 a.m. Wednesday. Police pulled him over after the driver's registration was discovered to be suspended. He was taken into custody for his second drunken driving arrest and cited with possessing open intoxicants, operating after revocation and operating without insurance. He was turned over to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office on a warrant.
- A 42-year-old Burlington man was arrested with a 0.16 blood alcohol content at 2:37 a.m. Saturday in the 6000 block of North Lake Drive. The vehicle was swerving repeatedly while driving in the 5200 through 6000 blocks of the street. It was the manβs second drunken driving arrest. He was also cited with operating without insurance and operating after suspension.
- A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested with his third drunken driving offense in the 4900 block of North Lake Drive at 2:53 a.m. Sunday. He had a blood alcohol content of 0.15. He was also cited with drinking open intoxicants.
Smashed car windows
- A purse containing a drivers license, credit card, $80 in cash, a $500 necklace and a cell phone were stolen after an unknown person smashed a car window in the west lot of the between 10:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Friday. Police are examining security video from the JCC.
- The front passenger side window of aΒ locked vehicle was smashed in an Estabrook Park parking lotsometime between 12:30 p.m. and 1:20 p.m. Sunday afternoon. A bag containing a wallet and an iPhone were stolen.
Theft from construction site

- A Sheboygan-based plumber working in the 100 block of West Silver Spring Drive claimed $700 in tools were stolen between 8:45 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. Oct. 25. The tools were left unsecured inside the unfinished building.
Stolen alcohol
- A 41-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for stealing $166 in alcohol from at 11:43 a.m. Thursday.
