Power Company Scam Victimizes Whitefish Bay Resident: Cops
According to Whitefish Bay police, two men came to the person's house under the guise of being power company employees.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI β Authorities in Whitefish Bay say a homeowner was the victim of a scam involving suspects that posed as power company employees.
Police in Whitefish Bay say they were sent to a home in the 5000 block of N. Santa Monica Blvd. at just after noon on Feb. 17 on a report of a theft complaint.
According to Whitefish Bay police, two men came to the person's house under the guise of being power company employees.

Police said the homeowner welcomed the employees in, only to find that jewelry had been taken.
Police said one of the men appeared to be in his early 30s and stood between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 and weighed about 160 pounds. That person was wearing a close-trimmed goatee, a gray jacket, and khaki cargo pants, police said.

The homeowner said the vehicle he was driving in appeared to be a silver SUV, police said.
