Resident Robbed While Parking Car At WFB Home On Newhall: Police

A resident was robbed when they were parking their car in their garage Thursday night near Newhall and Hampton, Whitefish Bay police said.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — A Whitefish Bay resident was robbed Thursday night when they were parking their car in their home's garage near Newhall Street and Hampton Avenue, according to a news release from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

Police said a man approached the victim in their garage on 4800 Newhall Street around 10:45 p.m. The man displayed a firearm and the victim threw their purse and phone at the suspect, police said.

The suspect picked up the phone and purse and ran back to their vehicle, a red, older style 2-door sedan with a loud exhaust, police said.

The suspect was described as a man aged 20-30 wearing a large dark-colored jacket and a baseball cap.
