Several Arrested In Whitefish Bay Stolen Vehicle Case: Report

Police said four suspects were taken into custody, and recovered a loaded Ruger 9mm pistol.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI β€” Police say several people were arrested in a stolen vehicle case in which the suspects abandoned a stolen vehicle before getting caught in a second stolen vehicle.

According to Whitefish Bay police, officers were called to the 5200 block of N. Shoreland Ave. for an unattended vehicle that was running.

Police learned the vehicle had just been stolen from the 5300 block of N. Shoreland Ave., and was abandoned by one of the suspects who was seen getting into a stolen green Toyota Yaris from Milwaukee.

Police learned the driver of the Yaris fled the area and was involved in a vehicle pursuit with Glendale Police that ended near N. Teutonia Ave. and W. Mill Road.

Police said four suspects were taken into custody, and recovered a loaded Ruger 9mm pistol. That pistol was stolen earlier in the morning from Brown Deer, police said.

According to police, three of the suspects were arrested and one 16-year-old girl was transported to the children's center for a warrant and potential charges.
