Shorewood, Whitefish Bay Police Investigate Report Of Gunshots

Police said they investigated three reports of gunshots in the Shorewood/Whitefish Bay area on Feb. 2.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI β€” Authorities in Whitefish Bay investigated a report of gunshots, however did not find anything suspicious.

According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, officers were sent to the 4800 block of N. Shoreland Ave. at just after 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 2 after a resident reported hearing a gunshot.

Police said a witness heard one gun shot and what sounded like something being struck. A short time later, authorities also reported receiving a similar call from a resident in the 4400 block of N. Wildwood in Shorewood and then another call from the 4600 block of N. Cramer St.

Police said all of the areas were checked by both Whitefish Bay and Shorewood Police and nothing suspicious was found.
