GLENDALE, WI — A new specialized studio for people to stretch their bodies with the assistance of equipment and trained staff is set to come to Bayshore in June.

Stretch Zone will establish its first location in Wisconsin at Bayshore, 385 Eastshore Drive, with an opening scheduled for June 6, according to a news release from the company.

The company touts itself as a place where customers get personalized attention from trained staff in the form of gentle, controlled stretching that is meant to be soothing and relaxing, according to the news release. Stretch Zone staff use exclusive stretching methods with the intention of helping customers to take on everything from a busy day to an intense workout. The assisted stretching is also meant to boost energy and mental clarity.

"We’re excited to bring our very first Wisconsin franchise to Bayshore,” said Beckie Kaczkowski, the CEO of Stretch Zone Wisconsin. "We looked at several locations, but nothing could match the energy and excitement of Bayshore. We are happy to be a part of this thriving community.”

Jordan Gold founded the stretching franchise in 2004, inspired by his grandfather, who suffered from diabetes and a loss of motion as a result, the news release says. The company offers its own stretching methods with its own equipment.
