Target Construction Nears Completion At Bayshore Mall

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Construction on the new Target location in Glendale at Bayshore is nearing completion.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel estimates an October opening for the new store. A city administrator told the publication the location should be open by the end of the year.

The new location, which will fill in for the vacant Boston Store property on 5700 Lydell Avenue, recently got its signature sign.

The new location has also applied for liquor licenses and is seeking workers, Journal Sentinel reported.

Target has already put job openings on its website for the new location.

The new location would be a first for much of the north shore of Milwaukee. People from Bayside to Shorewood will have a Target location much more within reach—The closest other location is in Grafton.
