Week Ahead: Breakfast With Santa, High School Concert

Village Board meeting: Whitefish Bay trustees will meet at 7 p.m. Monday to discuss the creation of a tax incremental finance district for The Mandel Group's luxury apartment development in the north municipal parking lot on Silver Spring Drive between Consaul Place and Santa Monica Boulevard. The board will also act on a development agreement with New Land Enterprises to provide funding from the village's first TIF district for the restoration of underground parking under the Fox Bay building.
Chat With County Board Chairwoman: Milwaukee County Board Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic will hold a “Chat with the Chair” listening session at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Whitefish Bay Library. County Board Supervisors Gerry Broderick and Willie Johnson, Jr. will also be at the listening session.

High School Music Concert: The Whitefish Bay High School Music Department will hold a concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Whitefish Bay High School. The high school string symphony will perform an original composition by senior Sabrina Raber, as well as Dvorak's Silent Woods with senior cellist Ross Nevin. The three curricular choirs and the symphony band will also perform at the concert.
Breakfast With Santa: The North Shore Kiwanis are hosting a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a..m. Saturday at St. Monica Parish Hall. Guests can visit with Santa, have their face painted, and enjoy a delicious breakfast, including pancakes, sausage, juice, milk & coffee. Tickets are available at the door or in advance at Winkie's for $6 per adult (10 & up) and $4 per child (over 2 years of age). All proceeds will benefit youth charities.

Afternoon in Wonderland: The Whitefish Bay High School Key Club is hosting Afternoon in Wonderland, a fun-filled activity fair to benefit the American Cancer Society, from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. Activities at the fair include holiday-themed games, arts and crafts, a dance-off, a viewing of the film Happy Feet, and ginger bread house decorations. The fair is open to kids ages 2 to 11.
