Week Ahead: Bridal Walk Offers Everything For Your Big Day

A look ahead at some of the happenings on the calendar this week.

The Whitefish Bay Bridal Walkο»Ώ: On Saturday, Whitefish Bay businesses will provide everything new couples will need for their dream wedding. The bridal walk will feature in-store consultations, complimentary tastings, trunk shows, demonstrations, drawings for fabulous prizes, a wedding fashion show, and much more from 1 to 4 pm at participating establishments all along Silver Spring Drive. Favor bags will be presented to the first 100 brides in attendance.

The Whitefish Bay School Board will meetο»Ώ earlier than usual at 5 p.m. Wednesday, as the high school's "Meet the Teachers" event is being held at 6:30 p.m. The school board will hear 'back to school' reports from each school's principal, a communications initiative update from Superintendent Mary Gavigan, discuss "Dashboards for Organizational Progress and Performance" and take action on a personnel report.

The Whitefish Bay Village Board meeting originally scheduled for Monday night has been canceled due to a light agenda.

: This six-mile walk through Whitefish Bay on Friday is a fundraiser for Dominican High School's student activities including sports, theater, campus ministry, government, and more. The school is hoping to raise $40,000 through the fundraiser.
