What Local Business Is Missed The Most: Whitefish Bay Responds
We asked readers "If you could bring back one local business that closed in town (it doesn't matter how long ago), which would it be?"

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — A lot of businesses have come and gone in Whitefish Bay history, and depending on how long you have lived in the area, some may still live on in memories.
On Saturday, we asked Whitefish Bay Patch readers on Facebook "If you could bring back one local business that closed in town (it doesn't matter how long ago), which would it be?"
You had a lot to say, but two standouts from recent memory were Fitzgerald Pharmacy and Fox-Bay Cinema Grill. Fitzgerald Pharmacy, also known for its buckets of candy, closed in 2019.

The status of Fox-Bay was murky as of June 2021. They had been partially open early during the pandemic, according to a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report, but the spot remains closed.
