When is Construction Going to be Finished?

Whitefish Bay village officials posted an update this morning on construction projects throughout the village.

The updates are expected to be posted to the village website twice a month. The timelines and completion dates are subject to change dependent upon weather delays or any other unforeseen circumstances.

Parking Lots and Beaumont/Lakeview Alley

• The parking lot and alley north of the Fox Bay building is on schedule and is expected to be finished and opened May 27. The parking lot will be closed May 31. The Beaumont/Lakeview alley is finished and will be opened on Tuesday, May 17.

5500-5600 Block of Berkeley Blvd. (Birch to Silver Spring)

• Water service interruptions will continue through the week of May 23. Everyone affected by these shutdowns will be notified at least 24 hours in advance. Utility work will be complete by Memorial Day and street reconstruction to begin May 31st. The street is cheduled to be open by July 1.

700-800 Block of Sylvan Ave. (Idlewild to Marlborough)

• Scheduled to begin the week of May 23rd and be completed by mid August. This may be pushed back to begin of the week of May 31 due to the completion of Berkeley Boulevard.

Berkeley Sanitary Sewer 4700-4900 Blocks

• Tentatively scheduled to begin the week of May 23rd and could be pushed back to as late as May 31st. Scheduled to be complete in mid-August. Expected to begin at Wilson and the contractor to work south to north.

Lake Dr. (Woodburn to Bartlett) and Marlborough Dr. (Fairmount-Chateau)

• Will be mobilizing crews and equipment the week of May 23 and scheduled to begin May 31. Scheduled to be complete by mid-August. Expected to begin at Woodburn.

F series street lights (Hampton to SVL and Woodburn to Oakland)

• Bids to be opened June 2 and awarded at the June 6 Village Board meeting. Demolition in the Cumberland Elementary School to begin June 13th.

Sidewalk Project (North of Day Ave)

• Tentatively scheduled to begin after the 4th of July.

Mill and Overlay Project (various streets)

• Tentatively scheduled to begin at the end of August.

Lancaster Storm Sewer (Shoreland to Lydell)

• Currently in design and to be completed before the mill and overlay project starts.
