Whitefish Bay Man Put Meat In Park Trees To Feed Squirrels
Police said they ordered the man to stop feeding animals in the park because it's both a health hazard as well as littering.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — A Whitefish Bay man who fed the squirrels in Big Bay Park by putting small amounts of meat in the trees says he won't do it again after police were called on him late last week.
According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, an officer was sent to Big Bay Park near E. Henry Clay Street and N. Palisades Road just after 10:30 a.m. on April 20 on a report that a neighbor went into the park and placed small items of meat in the trees.
When police investigated, it led them to a resident on the 4800 block of N. Larkin. When police questioned the resident, he said he placed meat in the trees in order to feed the squirrels.
