Whitefish Bay Sex Offender Arrested At Klode Park: Report
Police say they fielded a report of a shirtless man inside a suspicious van at Klode Park. Here's what they ultimately found:

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Authorities say a 60-year-old Whitefish Bay man who was convicted of possessing child pornography was arrested last week after he reportedly violated the terms of his probation.
According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, the incident began at just after 11 a.m. on Sept. 11 at Klode Park when a person called police, saying a shirtless man was sitting in a tan ford SUV listed to David M. Pitel of Whitefish Bay. Police call logs stated a witness saw that his van was located in the southwest corner of the east parking lot in each of the prior three days.
According to court records, Pitel was convicted in Dec. 2011 for possession of child pornography, and is not allowed near public areas where children could be at play.

Two days later, an officer on patrol in the area of Klode Park at just before 11 a.m. on Sept. 13 saw Pitel's tan SUV at Klode Park. Police say Pitel was arrested on a violation of the terms of his probation.
