Wisconsin Woman Opens Milk Chute, Finds Suspicious Gun
After 11 years, a Whitefish Bay woman opened her home's milk chute with the help of her children. They found a suspicious-looking gun.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — A Whitefish Bay mom got an unlikely surprise last week after living at her home for more than a decade.
According to Whitefish Bay police, just after 2 p.m. on March 30, a woman living on the 4500 block of N. Cramer Street called police, saying her children opened a milk chute in the house and found a suspicious gun.
The woman told police she had been living in the same house for 11 years and had never opened the chute - until she and her children opened it that day, according to police call logs.

According to police, the gun was found wrapped in a rag. When police took possession of it, they learned it was a Marksman .45 mm BB gun.
Police said they photographed the gun and destroyed it at the station.

Nobody was hurt as a result of the incident, police said.
