Yard Waste Collection Resumes Next Week
Homes north of Henry Clay will have Monday pickup, and homes south of Henry Clay will have Tuesday pickup.

As the snow slowly melts away, the Whitefish Bay Department of Public Works is preparing to resume its yard waste collection program.
Starting April 8, homes north of Henry Clay Drive will have their yard waste collected on Mondays, while homes south of Henry Clay will have yard waste collected on Tuesdays. The DPW asks that all materials are out to the curb by 7 a.m. on the scheduled collection day.
Yard waste includes garden plants, tiny branches and thatch. Crews cannot accept grass clippings due to state regulations. Yard waste should be placed in a reusable 30 gallon or less container or paper bag adjacent to the street between the public sidewalk and street curb.Â

The Village will begin collecting and chipping branches the week of April 15. There is no set chipping schedule, but crews collect chipping on a five- to 10-day basis. Chipping material should be placed in the parkway between the curb and sidewalk. It is against village ordinance to place this material on the sidewalk or in the street.
To schedule a special pick-up or for other questions, call Village Hall at (414) 962-6690.
