Birmingham Zoo: Birmingham Zoo Hosts Coronavirus Vaccination Day In Partnership With The Jefferson County Department Of Health
Face masks are required to be properly worn inside the Learning Center and during the entire vaccination process.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - JCDH will be administering the Pfizer vaccine in the Zoo’s Learning Center and signage will be visible to direct participants. Proof of insurance is not required and no appointments are necessary to obtain a shot. The Pfizer vaccine is a two-shot series and participants receiving this shot will be given information on how and where to obtain the second dose.

Every participant receiving the vaccine will get two (2) free Zoo admission tickets to be used during daytime operating hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on September 18 or until December 31, 2021 – tickets not valid for special events or programs. Parking at the Zoo is free. Face masks are required to be properly worn inside the Learning Center and during the entire vaccination process.
