• Pelham City Schools names Dorann Tanner as assistant superintendent of... (shelbycountyreporter.com) — A longtime Alabaster City Schools leader, Dr. Dorann Tanner, who helped drive a 99% graduation rate and expand student services across Alabaster, has been named assistant superintendent for Pelham City Schools. Tanner, a nationally recognized school social worker, says she hopes her new role will continue the legacy she built in Alabaster and throughout Shelby County.
