Here are the top stories in Birmingham today:

  1. Six people were killed in a string of Birmingham homicides over the weekend, marking the city's 101st through 106th murder investigations this year. (Birmingham Patch)
  2. A Birmingham man died after he was hit by a car along I-59 while checking on another driver involved in a car accident with him. (WIAT - CBS42.com)
