- REV Birmingham is planning to put on a retail pop-up market in Woodlawn. The pop-up, called Woodlawn Marketplace, will host 12 vendors from Woodlawn Street Market from Sept. 9 to Oct. 3. (Birmingham Business Journal)
- Two men were killed and two more hospitalized in a shooting in east Birmingham Saturday afternoon. Three men are in custody and one suspect remains at large. (Birmingham Patch)
- A woman who was reported missing in Birmingham over the weekend has been located. Onelia Soraida Alavez Gonzalez was reported missing Saturday and was found safe Monday. (WVTM13)
- The Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals has upheld the 2019 conviction of former Birmingham Water Works Board member Sherry Lewis on felony ethics charges. (AL.com)
