Morning, Birmingham! It's Wednesday, so let's get you started with everything you need to know going on around town today. Let's begin by getting you caught up on the Birmingham municipal runoff elections last night. Two incumbent Birmingham City Council members lost their bids for re-election, while one school board member lost his bid for re-election. Also in the news yesterday was the announcement of a new mental health facility in Jefferson County, opening in 2022. Read on, neighbors!

- Here are the unofficial results of the municipal run-off elections in Birmingham Tuesday, with projected wins by J. T. Moore and Latonya Tate for council seats, and Jason Meadows and Sherman Collins, Jr. for school board seats. (Birmingham Patch)
