Birmingham's Protective Stadium Nominated For Stadium Of The Year
Protective Stadium is nominated to become the 2021 Stadium of the Year among other 22 venues from all around the world.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham's Protective Stadium, which opened in the fall, has been nominated as the 2021 Stadium of the Year. The venue is now subject to vote by internet users.
Protective Stadium is among 23 stadiums throughout the world up for the honor.
Other nominees include three stadiums of the 2022 World Cup (Al Bayt Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium and Stadium 974) and three other stadiums of America’s MLS (TQL Stadium, Q2 Stadium and Lower.com Field). There are two more domestic rivals: American Legion Memorial Stadium and Wild Horse Pass Stadium.

Voters from many of the nominated cities and teams have a chance to show their support by voting for a stadium from their region.
The Public Award is given out in a democratic online vote. The vote is free for everyone, but limited to one vote per person (one per device).

In order to take part, voters must select five stadiums by giving 5 stars to the best one, 4 stars to the second best, 3 stars to the third, 2 stars for the fourth and finally 1 star for the fifth most interesting.
Voters can access the ballot here and submit votes through March 14.
