BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Birmingham City Council Tuesday will vote on a $6.9 million citywide street resurfacing project. The project includes 230 roads in the city, according to ABC 33/40.

"As we move further throughout the budgetary process, we can identify more funding and we can appropriate that funding towards additional street resurfacing," William Parker, Birmingham City Council President told ABC 33/40. "That's just a top priority for the city council and the city of Birmingham."
