Man Killed At Birmingham Motel Identified

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Police have released the name of a man who was kill at a Birmingham motel this weekend. DeAngelo Martezes Cain, 33, was killed at the Sun Inn on Bessemer Road at 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

Authorities said the shooting was a result of an argument between Cain and the shooter, who were both staying at the motel. Officers on the scene identifies a man as the suspect and took him into custody, though it was later confirmed that the suspect was not in police custody but his identity was known.
