Man Shot And Killed Inside Bessemer Home

BESSEMER, AL — A 48-year-old man was shot and killed at a residence in Bessemer Tuesday night. The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. at a home on Hillside Avenue.

Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the man was initially found in the home by family members.

"The victim had been shot multiple times," Money said. "The front door was open and it appeared there may have been a struggle inside the home."
