Teen Charged In Shooting Death Of His Brother
Arthur Lee Thomas, Jr., 18, is charged with capital murder in the shooting death of his brother, Corey Waters.
FAIRFIELD, AL — An arrest has been made in the Aug. 26 shooting death of 44-year-old Corey Waters in Fairfield. Waters' brother, 18-year-old Arthur Lee Thomas, Jr., has been charged with capital murder in the shooting.
The shooting occurred in the 500 block of 42nd Street in Fairfield. After an investigation, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office investigators obtained warrants for Thomas and he was taken into custody.
Thomas is being held at Jefferson County Jail with no bond.
