  1. The Birmingham Police Department reports a Birmingham teen died at a local hospital after being shot in a vehicle on Thanksgiving evening. The teen showed up at UAB Hospital with gunshot wounds at about 6:50 p.m. Another teen is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries. The shooting did not appear random, according to the department. (WVTM13 Birmingham)
  2. The Salvation Army of Greater Birmingham is offering a new affordable way to give back to those in need this holiday season. The organization's Project Share allows participants to pay a little extra on their energy bill each month to help lower someone else's bill. The program has helped almost three thousand people and has spent more than $450,000 on energy bills. Participation details are available at the link. (WBRC)
  3. The Birmingham Police Department is still searching for a suspect who stole an Amazon delivery van. The incident occurred on Sunday, Nov. 20 on 6th Street North. The van has been recovered but the suspect remains on the run. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (WVTM13 Birmingham)
